Loch Lomond.

Just had a mini spill. Still touring with the Extreme Stunt Show in Scotland.  At present we are at Loch Lomond. The suns blazing, the mountains and Lochs are beautiful. And the bosses wife always gets a " how's Jane " ( In joke. Nothing dodgy ).

Just been out finding the most obscure way around the Loch . Up into the forest and picked my way through. Through streams and traversing narrow ledges. Loch Lomond is another hot spot and well known training ground for Africa.  Honest !!!

Finally came to some steps and a tiny gate. Well.....it kind of didn't work out as planned.

After three attempts of trying to get the bike up the steps, the engine bottomed out. On the second step. And despite having the brakes on, the bike and I slowly slid backwards.  "O joy ", I thought.

Very slowly we slid back and into a mosquito ridden bog. Not content with that. My bike went up to its axel in mud and the chain came off.

I was ecstatic. And then bloody Brian called me.!!!! There's me, in two foot deep bog, giving directions to a local cafe !!

Luckily my phone battery went. So was unable to take a picture of my mini spill. Shame.

But here's a few I took on the way round.

Bombing Range

Hi all. We are right in the north of Scotland at the moment.  A Town called Tain. So I have been out on the bike, practicing for Africa. Found miles of beach. Via a pathway and an old pedestrian bridge.

After three miles or so of being on the sand. Two 4x4 s stopped me. Turned out I was on a Royal Airforce bombing range !!!! Oooops. Had to laugh.

To say that the little Van Van is designed to pop to the shops. It's doing really well. Which is handy. :)

All bar the number plate and indicator rattling off. And loosing a bungie.!!
